Fluid. Strong. Confident.

These were the words that we chose to define our design language amidst a sea of 4X4 UTV styling that is aggressive, sharp and agitated. Road cars were a more productive starting point than 4X4 UTV’s so that is where we began.

Less buggy, more truck.

The existing vehicles in this category appear light and almost toy-like, so we focused on ideating around road vehicles to shake up the appearance.

On to the fun part.

Now that we had a final direction, it was time to bring our vision into Solidworks.

A friend and teammate of mine, John Michael Hoffman and I collaborated on this sketch.

My Contribution

I was in charge of modeling the hood sections, grill, battery cover, rock plate, headlights and fog light pods.

I am currently on my own set of Keyshot renders, but in the meantime, the beautiful renders you see in this presentation were completed by our teammate, Brendan Pragasam.
